H&M tried with this one. They really did. I feel as if they were going for a grungy, yet athletic look (the model's short sporty blonde hair paired with the heavy eyeliner and combat boots are what I'm basing that assumption on)....I just feel like they didn't reach it. When the H&M online store opened it made my day. I just received a gift card, I was ready to go IN and shop all the credit away. Then I went to the website and saw that I couldn't search by price so I had to scroll through everything. I bore the annoyance, but when I went to the checkout, they don't even take gift cards online. Really H&M? Really? And then you have the nerve to try and sell me this weird sweatshirt dress on top of all of that? Shaking my head.
Those are two different but equally kooky jackets. Not kooky in a cute way like someone wearing an owl glasses and hipster glasses; both are so garish and crazy that I didn't think they were real. No joke, with that pink mint hoodie I thought they just took a pink hoodie and a green hoodie and merged them as a picture so that you knew that the jacket was available in either pink or green. Not pink AND green. I can't. Colorblocking is great, and I'm all for fashion risks. I just need to not be leaving my house looking like I was dipped in a lifesize vat of Trix yogurt. Is that too much to ask?
Apparently it is. That pastel biker jacket is about to go out of stock at Modcloth. Only 5 left. It's also 174 dollars which is completely inexcusable. However, clearly I'm the only one who feels this way because it has a 4 star rating and it's almost sold out. What is going on?
This is the atrocity that makes me the saddest. These heels could have actually been super cute! They've got the peep toe going for them, the lace up gladiator trend, and I love that they tie at the ankle. With that said, you couldn't pay me to wear these redwhiteandblue snakeskin shoes. That's what these are. It's like patriotic snakeskin. Why why why why do these not just come in black? Why are they 119 dollars? Why? Basically I just feel like there is too much going on with this shoe. They could have been great enough for me to wait for them to go on sale and then snatch them up. Missed opportunity on Zara's part.
Everything in this post is totally my opinion (ha so is everything on this website whoopwhoop) so you are completely entitled to disagree with me! Style is so individual-based. I'm probably still the only person my age who still wears a fanny pack. There are multitudes of items in my closet that I wear and people are so confused as to why I'm wearing them because they're so ugly. I included links to the products in case you're actually kind of digging those shoes or you want a cozy sweatshirt dress to lounge around in during the winter I don't know your life and what you're going through shoot. If you do buy any of these, I'd be super curious to see how they look in the world so send me a picture through the contact form or leave a comment with a link or something : )
